Floral Cuff

Chiseled and pierced silver-plated brass
This cuff originated from a single chased metal sample. Like a painter working on a canvas, Marianne Blengino employed the tracé-matis technique to sculpt a composition that evokes wild flora, with roots reaching deep into the earth.
This fragment, a vestige of an initial inspiration, patiently awaited its transformation. In May 2023, the fashion designer Zucco Christopher unveiled a collection themed around roots—a creative revelation that inspired the integration of this sample into a bespoke cuff. The piece was subsequently presented during the Nice-based designer’s runway show.
